The suspense of the IV GMP Conference has been revealed
The full formal program of the event was published on the official website of the IV All-Russian GMP-conference with international participation. The role of the pharmaceutical industry in the national economy, the export potential of pharmaceutical companies in different regions, the EAEU single market, medicines marking, health-care expenditures, pharmacopoeia standards, manufacture of radiopharmaceuticals and blood products, as well as specific considerations of all GxP standards will be discussed by regulators, manufacturers and distributors from Latin America to South-East Asia on September 23-25 in Kaliningrad region.
Today, the organizers of the IV All-Russian GMP-conference have published the structure of the conference program that will be held under the motto «Good Practices: bringing industry and world together». This year, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation together with the State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices (SID&GP) have suggested the regulators and representatives of pharmaceutical companies devoting a plenary session to the importance and role of the pharmaceutical industry in the economic development of countries.
“Indeed, today the pharmaceutical sector is one of the most successfully developing sectors of industry around the world: breakthrough discoveries are taking place there to ensure a decent life for our citizens and prevent their diseases. At the same time, we take into account that the issues of medicines availability, accessibility and quality, continue to be the topic number one, even in countries with rigid regulatory systems. That is why we invited our colleagues from Latin America, Japan, India, Europe, the USA, Africa and the EAEU to take part in the conference”, – commented Vladislav Shestakov, Director of SID&GP, on the choice of key topics and considerable representation of foreign GMP-inspectorates at the event.
Even at the stage of program formulation of the main autumn event for the pharmaceutical market, the trend for export development of medicines and medical devices manufacturers became obvious. In addition, this trend is typical not only for Russia, where export is one of the key target indicators in the upcoming “FHARMA – 2030” strategy.
Traditionally, the organizers of the GMP Conference expect great interest to the master class conducted by the Russian State GMP-inspectorate. By the way, this year it will be held on September 24 and 25.
Moreover, the topical issue of the 2019 pharmaceutical season – medicines marking, will not neglected as well, where the representatives of the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare of the Russian Federation, the Russian Development Center of Advanced Technologies, industry associations and pilot project participants will evaluate the status of system’s readiness and its participants before the final lap.
