Opening of the II All-Russian Inter-University GxP Summit

The II All-Russian inter-university GxP Summit with international participation «Choice of the best. Time forward» started in Sochi. This is a major event aimed on increasing the prestige of the pharmaceutical industry professions.

The summit will be held with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the FSI «State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices». The organizer of the event is the charitable foundation «Guiding Star», with the co-organizer «Business Capital» LLC.

Students and post-graduate students will spend three days in Sochi – competitions, presentations, excursions and meetings with leading domestic and international pharmaceutical manufacturers are organized for them. The platinum sponsor of the summit is the international company MSD, the general sponsor – the largest Russian company «R-Pharm», and the official sponsor is the full-cycle pharmaceutical company «Nativa». Participants of the summit «Choice of the best. Time forward» became the most talented students and graduate students of the profile faculties of leading specialized universities in Russia and CIS countries, South Asia and Europe. The main goal of the event is to support young professionals, introduce them into the profession and create a potential human resources base for Russian and foreign pharmaceutical production sites.

The official opening of the summit was announced by the Director of the State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices, Vladislav Shestakov. Welcoming the participants, he noted that the problem of shortage of personnel should be solved with the help of training of young specialists.

Over the past 20 years, the quality of manufactured medicines has reached a new level, and an international standard of production practice has been introduced in Russia.

II All-Russian Inter-University GxP Summit with international participation «Choice of the best. Time forward» runs from July 3 to 6 in Sochi. The format of the event will allow contestants in the future to be guaranteed to find work in large pharmaceutical companies in Russia and abroad, as the GxP summit attracted the attention of a large number of potential employers.
