FSI “SID & GP” and ANPP Algeria signed a Memorandum of Understanding on GMP inspections
On June 26, 2026, the FSI “State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices” (FSI “SID & GP”) and the National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products (ANPP) of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Moscow. The key objective of the Memorandum is long‑term cooperation aimed at fostering friendly relations between Russia and Algeria in pharmaceutical inspections for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, the parties intend to cooperate in the field of pharmaceutical distribution, particularly in good manufacturing practices, including joint training activities, advisory activities, and mutual exchange of professional information.
The document was signed by Vladislav Shestakov, Director of the FSI “SID & GP,” and Delih Cherif, Director General of ANPP.
“I am confident that the Memorandum signed today lays a solid foundation for long‑term and mutually beneficial cooperation between Russia and Algeria in distribution of pharmaceuticals and Good Manufacturing Practice. It opens a new chapter in our bilateral pharmaceutical partnership,” noted Vladislav Shestakov, Director of the FSI “SID & GP.”
