IV GMP Conference will be held from 23 to 25 of September

The IV All-Russia GMP Conference with international participation this year will take place at the shore of Baltic Sea, in Svetlogorsk city (Kaliningrad region). The organizers of the event are the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation together with the State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices (SID & GP).

The major Conference on Good Practices in pharmaceutical industry – the IV All-Russia GMP Conference with international participation this year will be held under the motto «Good Practices: bringing industry and world together».

The purpose of the Conference is to exchange experience and discuss practical issues arising in the process of implementation of Good Practices requirements between participants of the Russian pharmaceutical market, authorities, professional associations and communities at an open discussion platform. More than 1000 specialists from Russia, Asia, Europe and the USA will discuss the current problems of the Russian and global pharmaceutical markets, as well as the role of Good Practices in ensuring the quality of pharmaceutical production and international cooperation. The business program of the IV All-Russian GMP Conference will cover a wide range of issues: the contribution of the pharmaceutical industry to the Russian economy, export development, integration processes within the EAEU, current issues of GMP-inspection, pharmacovigilance, ensuring aseptic production, relevant issues of blood-derived products manufacture, GMP-manufacturing of radiopharmaceuticals, regulation of production and medicines turnover for veterinary use and many others.

In the course of preparation for the event and during the Conference, participants have the opportunity to influence on the agenda of the program, to take part in the professional competitions and games. Thus, on September 24, the results will be summed up and the industry will know the results of the “The best Quality Director” competition. On the same day, Elena Denisova, the Deputy Director of the Department for the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry Development of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and Natalia Chadova, the Head of Department on Drug Product Inspection and Expert Evaluation, SID & GP, will hold the “GMP-inspection” master class, the agenda of which is formed by the industry in terms of online voting. On September 25, the GMP master class will continue in the format of business game “Outplay the GMP expert”, the questions for which can be sent until August 16, 2019 at: gosgmpexpert@gmail.com.
