The State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices Won the High Quality Award of The Russian Government

Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin signed Decree No. 397-r of March 2, 2026, on awarding the Russian Government Quality Award for 2025. The document establishes a list of 11 organizations that have received this highest state honor as a result of the quality and efficiency audit of business processes.

The Federal State Institution “State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices” (FSI “SID & GP”) of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia has become a winner of the Russian Government Quality Award in the category of organizations with up to 250 employees.

“This award is a great honor and, at the same time, an anticipated result of the work of the FSI “’SID & GP” team over the past few years. It is especially significant that the Institute receives this award in the year of the 10th anniversary since the first international GMP inspection was conducted in April 2016. Committed to its mission, FSI “SID & GP” will continue advancing the level of personnel expertise in GMP inspections of manufacturing facilities and contributing in good manufacturing practice development in the Russian Federation and the EAEU member states,” noted Vladislav Shestakov, Director of the FSI “SID & GP”.

The Russian Government Quality Awards are presented annually on a competitive basis to organizations for achieving significant results in the quality and safety of products and services, as well as for implementing highly effective ISO 9001 quality management standards.

To select the winners, efficiency and management experts conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the organizations’ performance by nine criteria, which include leadership, policy and strategy, personnel, partnerships, products, services, and key results.

The Russian Quality System body (Roskachestvo) carries out the comprehensive work on application procedure and operating the Government Quality Award. The Council for Award composed of top officials from the Russian Government Office, the Presidential Executive Office, the State Duma, the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, federal executive bodies, and heads of business associations, selects the laureates and award winners based on the scores achieved by the applicants during the assessment procedure.

The Quality Award Council includes heads of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic, Roskachestvo, Rosstandart, Rosaccreditation, and others.
