10th All-Russian GMP Conference with International Participation Launches Off in Moscow

On September 15, 2025, the anniversary X All-Russian GMP Conference will commence at the “Lomonosov” cluster in Moscow. The event is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in conjunction with the Federal State Budgetary Institution “State Institute of Medicinal Products and Good Practices”.

The three-day event will feature 10 thematic sessions and 3 master classes as part of its business program. The slogan “Regulating Today — Creating a Stable Tomorrow” will be the leitmotif of all events.

The plenary session, “Pharmaceutical Industry: Uniting Efforts for Patient Health,” which will take place on the first day of the event, will be attended by high-ranked officials of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Ministry of Health, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, and the Moscow City Government.

The focus of the business program includes:

• The strategic role of Good Practices in the medicinal products circulation system and their integration with modern processes.
• The common market of medicinal products of the EAEU for human and veterinary use.
• Interaction between the manufacturer and the regulatory body within the framework of manufacturing licensing.
• Issues of inspecting sterile medicinal products considering changes in GMP requirements.
• Approaches to organizing the production of medicines containing hazardous substances.
• Design and operation of microbiological laboratories at pharmaceutical manufacturing sites.
• Specifics of localizing advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs).
• The future of digital transformation in the pharmaceutical industry.

Master classes in the format of business games: on identifying non-conformities at a VR production facility, as well as an analysis of the most frequently encountered non-conformities during GMP inspections of enterprises.

Leading experts and international participants will discuss the development of the pharmaceutical industry in the context of advanced trends, such as: digital transformation of monitoring in pharmaceutical microbiological laboratories, accelerated integration of advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) into healthcare, regulation and quality control of medicines amid the widespread introduction of AI, and other current trends.

In honor of the 10th anniversary of the All-Russian GMP Conference, a special issue of the thematic supplement “Pharmindustry of Russia,” dedicated to issues of ensuring and controlling the quality of medicinal products, developing the system of Good Manufacturing Practice in our country, and the formation of the Russian GMP inspectorate, was published today in “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”.
