FSI “SID & GP” and CDSCO, India signed a cooperation agreement.
The FSI “SID & GP” and Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO), India signed a cooperation agreement within the framework of the 19th International Conference of Drug Regulatory Authorities (ICDRA), organized by CDSCO, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India with the support of the World Health Organization (WHO) held in New Delhi from October 14-18, 2024.
The agreement, which outlines the establishment of long-term cooperation between CDSCO and the FSI “SID & GP” in pharmaceutical inspections for compliance with the GMP requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Republic of India, conduct of joint trainings and advisory events, has been signed by Vladislav Shestakov, Director, the FSI “SID & GP” and Dr. Rajeev Singh Raghuvanshi, Drugs Controller General, Central Drugs Standard Control Organization of the Republic of India.
“Cooperation between our countries, especially in today’s geopolitical environment, has a tremendous potential for both parties. This agreement is a significant step towards safe drug policy formation and expansion of reliance in the regulatory systems of both countries. Implementation of joint projects, experience exchange, strengthening of professional cooperation will contribute to ensuring patient safety both in Russia and India,” emphasized Vladislav Shestakov, Director, the FSI “SID & GP”.
